Instructions

Proper position

  • Hold the bar with your hands in an overhand grip.
  • Straighten your arms and unlock your elbows, keeping your back straight and your feet off the ground.

Movement

  • Pull with your arms while trying to move away from the bar.
  • When the hands are above, push up while doing a dip.
  • Come back down and repeat the movement.

Breathing

  • Inhale as you go up.
  • Exhale during the descent.
