Instructions
Proper Position
- Sit on a preacher curl machine with your chest firmly pressed against the inclined pad.
- Adjust the seat height so your arms rest comfortably on the preacher pad, with a slight bend in your elbows at the start.
- Grip the machine handles with a pronated grip (palms facing downward).
Movement
- Contract your forearms and biceps to pull the handles upward, keeping your elbows fixed and close to the pad.
- Stop the motion when your forearms are almost perpendicular to the floor (without locking out).
- Slowly lower the handles back to the starting position, maintaining control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Breathing
- Inhale as you lower the handles.
- Exhale as you pull the handles upward.
Tips
- Maintain the pronated grip throughout the movement to focus on the forearms.
- Perform slow, controlled movements to maximize muscle engagement and avoid jerking.
- Ensure your back stays pressed against the pad for optimal posture.
