Instructions

The right position

  • Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Bend your legs, tilting your torso forward and keeping your back straight.
  • Grab a barbell.

Movement

  • Bend your waist forward, keeping your back straight, and lower the bar towards your shins.
  • Contract your glutes and hamstrings and return to a standing position.

Breathing

  • Exhale as you stand up.
  • Inhale as you descend.
