The right position
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Bend your legs, tilting your torso forward and keeping your back straight.
- Grab a barbell.
Movement
- Bend your waist forward, keeping your back straight, and lower the bar towards your shins.
- Contract your glutes and hamstrings and return to a standing position.
Breathing
- Exhale as you stand up.
- Inhale as you descend.
