Instructions

Proper position

  • Install a handle on a low pulley.
  • Grasp the handle with your right or left hand.
  • Stand in profile with your feet together.
  • Place the arm holding the handle alongside your body, almost straight.

Movement

 

  • Raise your hand to the side until your body and arm form a 90° angle. Only your arm moves.
  • Hold this position for a second then slowly lower yourself back to your starting position without letting the weights touch the stack.

Breathing

  • Inhale as you raise your arm.
  • Exhale while returning to the initial position.
