Proper position
- Install a handle on a low pulley.
- Grasp the handle with your right or left hand.
- Stand in profile with your feet together.
- Place the arm holding the handle alongside your body, almost straight.
Movement
- Raise your hand to the side until your body and arm form a 90° angle. Only your arm moves.
- Hold this position for a second then slowly lower yourself back to your starting position without letting the weights touch the stack.
Breathing
- Inhale as you raise your arm.
- Exhale while returning to the initial position.
