- Slowly rise onto the balls of your feet, engaging your calves.
- Keep your back straight, core engaged, and arms at your sides or slightly raised for balance.
Movement
- Walk slowly forward while staying on the balls of your feet. Take small steps to maintain balance.
- Focus on contracting your calves with each step.
- Continue walking for the desired distance or duration.
- Slowly lower your heels back to the ground when finished.
Breathing
- Breathe naturally throughout the exercise.
Tips
- Look straight ahead to maintain good posture and avoid leaning forward.
- If you’re a beginner, use a support (like a wall or bar) to help with balance.
- To increase difficulty, hold a light dumbbell in each hand or extend the duration of the walk.
- Keep movements slow and controlled to maximize calf engagement.
