Instructions

Proper Position

  • Lie on a flat bench with a dumbbell in each hand, using a neutral grip (palms facing each other).
  • Position the dumbbells close to your chest, just above your sternum, with your elbows tucked close to your body.
  • Keep your feet firmly planted on the floor, your back slightly arched, and your core engaged for stability.

Movement

  • Press the dumbbells upward in a straight line, bringing them slightly closer together at the top of the movement.
  • Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position, keeping your elbows close to your body.
  • Focus on contracting your triceps and chest throughout the movement.
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Breathing

  • Inhale as you lower the dumbbells.
  • Exhale as you press the dumbbells upward.
