Instructions

Proper position

  • Stand with one foot in front of the other, far enough apart to be able to put one knee on the ground.
  • Place the step in front of you.
  • Put your right or left foot on the step.


Movement

  • With the bar at your trapezius, bend your knee. 
  • Your knee, placed behind you, should never bend more than 90 degrees, and should barely extend beyond the ball of your foot.

Breathing

  • Inhale on the way down and exhale on the way up.
