Instructions

Proper position

  • Stand upright holding a dumbbell in each hand.

Movement

  • Raise your elbows to shoulder height and let the dumbbell hang straight down, with your elbow bent at a 90-degree angle.
  • Keeping your elbow in this position, exhale as you raise the dumbbells until they are at head level while externally rotating your shoulder.
  • Repeat this movement until you have completed the desired number of repetitions.

Breathing

  • Inhale as you slowly lower the dumbbells to the starting position.


The Cuban rotation with dumbbells is not intended to develop muscle mass. This is an exercise that helps maintain shoulder health.
