Instructions

Proper position

  • Incline the bench between 30 and 45 degrees.
  • Adjust the seat height so that the bar is above your eyes.
  • Grip the bar with your hands pronated, slightly wider than shoulder width apart, and your arms straight.
  • Keep your feet on the floor, shoulder-width apart, with your knees at a right angle.

Movement

  • Lower your arms by performing a forearm flexion, bringing the bar to the upper part of your sternum.
  • Raise your arms horizontally by performing a forearm extension.

Breathing

  • Inhale while bending.
  • Expires during expansion.
