Instructions
Proper position
- Sit on a bench with your back straight, or stand with your back straight, whichever you prefer.
- Place your feet shoulder-width apart, knees at a right angle.
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand.
- Arms alongside the body, hands in neutral position, elbows unlocked.
Movement
- Position your arms so that they are parallel to the floor.
- Raise your arms to the level of your face.
Breathing
- Inhale on the way up.
- Exhale on the descent.
