Proper Position
- Set yourself up on the assisted dip machine and adjust the assistance weight according to your strength level.
- Place your hands on the parallel handles, palms facing inward, and step onto the platform for stability.
- Lean your torso slightly forward while keeping your core engaged.
- Cross your legs at the back for added comfort.
Movement
- Slowly bend your elbows to lower your body, keeping your elbows pointing backward and your torso inclined forward. Lower until your arms form about a 90-degree angle.
- Push through the handles to return to the starting position, contracting your chest and triceps.
- Maintain control throughout the movement to avoid jerky motions.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Breathing
- Inhale as you lower yourself.
- Exhale as you push back up.
