Instructions

Proper Position

  • Set yourself up on the assisted dip machine and adjust the assistance weight according to your strength level.
  • Place your hands on the parallel handles, palms facing inward, and step onto the platform for stability.
  • Lean your torso slightly forward while keeping your core engaged.
  • Cross your legs at the back for added comfort.

Movement

  • Slowly bend your elbows to lower your body, keeping your elbows pointing backward and your torso inclined forward. Lower until your arms form about a 90-degree angle.
  • Push through the handles to return to the starting position, contracting your chest and triceps.
  • Maintain control throughout the movement to avoid jerky motions.
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Breathing

  • Inhale as you lower yourself.
  • Exhale as you push back up.
