Instructions

Proper position

  • Tilt the bench approximately 80 degrees or stand upright depending on your preference.
  • Sitting or standing, place your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • In the low position, the bar grazes the face and touches the top of the sternum.
  • Stretch out your arms.

Movement

  • Position your arms to place the bar on the top of your sternum.
  • Raise the bar and hold the descent.

Breathing

  • Inhale while bending.
  • Expires in the expansion.
