Proper position
- Sit in the seated leg curl machine, with your thighs under the padded seat.
- Place your ankles in front of the second ring.
Movement
- Contract your hamstring muscles to bring the sausage under your feet, as close to the back of your thighs as possible.
- Hold this position for 1 to 3 seconds to improve the effectiveness of the exercise.
- Slowly release the contraction, carefully controlling the load to come back up, without locking your knees at the end of the race.
Breathing
- Inhale as your legs come up into a straight position.
- Exhale as you contract your hamstrings.
